Tirrel
Original Bitter (3.8%)
Our original beer. A classic session bitter but not too strongly flavoured for easy drinking. Golden nut brown like traditional best bitters. Also available as Smooth Bitte
Old Faithful (4.0%)
By far our best seller, this is a light session beer with plenty of Goldings aroma hops. A classic blonde ale. Also available in 500ml bottles and as a Pale Smooth Bitter
Pennine Pilsner (4.0%)
Here we have perfection in a bottle. Brewed with Pennine water, lager malt and British top cropping yeast – then flavoured with the best Czech Saaz hops and cold conditioned for that refreshingly crisp pilsner taste.
In the style of a lager we brew our pilsners down to a final gravity of 1006, making them less full-bodied and more refreshing.
Brewed for bottling and kegging, we cask this as an extremely pale ale only when the weather is hot enough. On a sunny day other casks simply can’t compete with their crisp light refreshment.

Greene King Abbot Ale
EST. CALORIES: 150 ABV: 5%
“Abbot Ale is the culmination of knowledge and skills that have developed over centuries of experience. Brewed longer to a unique recipe using pale, amber and crystal malts, making it a full flavoured, smooth and mature beer. This irresistible ale has masses of fruit characters, a malty richness and superb hop balance.”
Wychwood Hobgoblin
EST. CALORIES: 156 ABV: 5.2%
Hobgoblin is a powerful full-bodied copper red, well-balanced brew. Strong in roasted malt with a moderate hoppy bitterness and slight fruity character that lasts through to the end.
Morland Old Speckled Hen
Cask version was first brewed in 1979 by Morland Brewery to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the MG car factory in Abingdon. The name comes from the MG factory’s works car – the gold speckled MG Featherweight Fabric Saloon, affectionately known as the Ol’ Speckl’d ’Un.
Brewed since 1999 by Greene King following the take-over of Morlands
Ruddles County
EST. CALORIES: 141 ABV: 4.7%
An English Ale with a distinctive flavour of dark toffee and caramel combined with a crisp bitterness derived from using rare Bramling Cross hops. Tropical and berry fruits from the mix of hops, in particular the rare Bramling Cross which adds black and redcurrants. Challenger in the boiling copper gives robust bitterness and this is balanced by the sweetness from the pale and crystal malts.
